ADA Traffic Control Ltd, founded in 1996 by James G. Murphy, is a traffic control agency
subcontracting professionally trained and certified traffic control flaggers. ADA is not
considered a temp agency. Our Corporate office is located in Bridgewater, Vermont with
Branch Offices in Newport and Colchester, Vermont.
ADA is proudly the largest traffic control company in New England and provides Traffic
Control Flaggers for General Contractors for Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, and just
recently ATSSA certified for New York.
All flaggers are trained under the guidelines of the Agency of Transportation in VT & NH.
ADA further provides on the job training with no cost to General Contractors. All flaggers
attend a 4 hour classroom training followed by on the job training.
All flaggers come equipped with a Traffic Control Vest, Mesh Safety Pants, Hard Hat, two
way portable radios and a Stop & Slow Paddle that meets MUTCD (Manual on Uniform
Traffic Control Devices) requirements.
ADA provides dispatching services for the purpose of employees scheduling and General
Contractors required services.
We employ a Operations Manager, Safety Director, Human Resources Officer, Training
Officers, Traffic Coordinators, and Road Supervisors that check all jobs on a regular basis.
ADA further provides the following rental items:
Sign Packages
Marked vehicles with Amber Lights (Pilot Cars)
Pickups (Rack Trucks) equipped with Amber Lights, Safety Harnesses, and Receivers
Arrow Boards
